These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of ScoobyCares' website and platform (the "Service") by veterinary clinics and their staff ("Clinics") and by the pet parents who use a Clinic's ScoobyCares account ("Pet Parents"), whether based in India or elsewhere. By creating an account, logging in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
ScoobyCares is a multi-tenant practice-management platform. Each Clinic that signs up gets its own isolated workspace covering appointment booking (online consultations, in-clinic visits and home visits), medical records, prescriptions, vaccinations, grooming (in-clinic and home-visit, including live groomer tracking), billing/invoicing, staff management, and ScoobyPaw, our built-in AI assistant.
Clinics subscribe to ScoobyCares under the plan and modules selected at sign-up or agreed separately with us. Fees, billing cycle and included modules are as communicated to the Clinic at the time of purchase or renewal. We may change our pricing for future billing cycles with reasonable advance notice. Non-payment may result in a Clinic's access being suspended until the account is brought current - see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how cancellations and refunds are handled.
You agree not to:
As between a Clinic and ScoobyCares, the Clinic owns the medical and business records it creates on the platform. As between a Pet Parent and their Clinic, ownership of a pet's medical record is governed by the Clinic's own policies and applicable law; ScoobyCares simply hosts and processes this data on the Clinic's behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.
The ScoobyCares name, logo, software, and platform design are owned by ScoobyCares. Nothing in these Terms transfers that ownership to a Clinic or Pet Parent - you receive only the right to use the Service as intended for the duration of an active subscription.
A Clinic may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law. On termination, we will retain data only as long as described in our Privacy Policy's retention section.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScoobyCares is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or medical outcomes resulting from decisions made using information recorded on or generated by the platform. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify ScoobyCares against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of a third party's rights through your use of the platform.
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be announced with an updated "Last updated" date above.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a separate written agreement with your Clinic specifies otherwise. We work with Clinics outside India as well; where local law grants you additional rights that cannot be waived, this section does not override them.
