Business Development Executive (BDE) Intern

About the role

Scoobycares is software for veterinary clinics, groomers and pet businesses in India: appointments, vaccinations, grooming, boarding, inventory and an online pet shop, with updates to pet parents on WhatsApp. As a BDE intern you will help clinics and pet businesses discover Scoobycares: find them, start the conversation, book demos and follow up until they sign up. You will work directly with the founder and learn how B2B SaaS sales really works.

What you will do

• Find veterinary clinics, pet shops, groomers and boarding businesses on Google Maps, Justdial, Instagram and LinkedIn, and build lead lists
• Call and WhatsApp clinic owners to introduce Scoobycares and book product demos
• Follow up with every lead on time and keep their status updated in our CRM
• Join demos, understand what each clinic needs and share their feedback with the team
• Help run outreach campaigns on WhatsApp, email and LinkedIn
• Reach weekly goals for calls, demos booked and sign-ups

Who we are looking for

• Clear, confident communication on calls and WhatsApp
• Comfortable calling business owners you have not met before
• Organised: you follow up on time and keep good notes
• Your own laptop or smartphone and a stable internet connection
• Available full-time, Monday to Friday, for 3 months
• Students and freshers from any degree are welcome
