The problem

Stock is money sitting on a shelf

๐Ÿ“‰

Out of stock mid-consult

You find out a medicine is finished when the pet is already on the table.

โ†’ Set a minimum level per batch and see what's low at a glance.
๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ

Expired stock thrown away

Nobody notices the expiry date until it's too late.

โ†’ Every batch has its expiry date, and reports show what expires in the next 30 days.
๐Ÿงฎ

Registers that never match

Sales are billed but the stock book is never updated.

โ†’ Billing an item reduces its batch automatically. Remove the line and it goes back.

Questions about inventory

Does stock reduce automatically?

Yes. When an item from stock is added to an invoice, that batch goes down. If the line is removed, the stock goes back.

Can we track expiry dates?

Yes. Every batch has its own expiry date, and reports show how many batches expire in the next 30 days.

We have more than one branch. Is stock separate?

Yes. Each batch belongs to a branch, so you can see what every branch has in stock.

Which stock movements can we record?

Purchases, pharmacy sales, dispensing, returns, adjustments up or down, damaged and expired stock. Every change is logged.
