Questions about appointments

Which kinds of visits can pet parents book?

In-clinic visits are on by default. Online video consultations and home visits can be switched on by your clinic, and each doctor chooses which kinds of visits they take.

How do online consultations work?

When a doctor adds the meeting link, ScoobyCares creates a Google Meet link (if the doctor has connected Google Calendar) or a free Jitsi link, and sends it to the pet parent.

Do bookings need approval?

Your choice. Bookings by pet parents can wait for your approval or be confirmed automatically. Bookings made by your staff are confirmed straight away.

Will pet parents get reminders?

Yes. They get a confirmation when the booking is accepted and a reminder the day before, on WhatsApp and in their dashboard.

Can pet parents cancel?

If your clinic allows it, pet parents can cancel up to a set number of hours before the visit. You choose the number of hours.
